Creatics develops interactive experiences that encourage people to play, move, collaborate and learn. We provide existing concepts, software and hardware, as well as developing fully customised experiences.
General
Which organisations does Creatics work with?
We work with holiday parks, campsites, event agencies, leisure businesses, tourist attractions, Family Entertainment Centres, schools, local authorities and community organisations, among others.
What types of experiences does Creatics offer?
Our range includes active experiences, staffless entertainment, teambuilding experiences and serious games. Examples include laser tag, interactive routes, city games, Escape Boxes and interactive walls.
Does Creatics only operate in the Netherlands?
No. Various concepts and systems are also used internationally. The options depend on the product, the support required and the available language versions.
Are the experiences suitable for both children and adults?
Yes. Many concepts are suitable for different age groups. We tailor the story, difficulty level, playing time and presentation to your audience.
Can I try a concept first?
Yes. You can request a no-obligation demonstration or a personal consultation. This lets you experience the concept and discuss how it could be used within your organisation.
Working with Creatics
How does a partnership with Creatics begin?
We usually start with a conversation about what you want to achieve. Which audience do you want to reach? What space or location do you have available? Do you want to generate additional revenue, engage visitors or create social impact? These questions help us find the best solution together.
Can you also help with the revenue model?
Yes. We consider both the experience and how the concept can deliver a return for your organisation. This includes pricing, capacity, staffing, rental, pay-per-play and other revenue models.
Do you stay involved after delivery?
Absolutely. We believe in long-term partnerships rather than quick sales. We support implementation, technology, updates and further development, and help you get the most out of the concept.
Can you help launch a new concept?
Yes. Depending on the concept, we can advise on the launch, training, promotional materials, pricing and practical implementation. The aim is to ensure that a new concept is actively used once it has been installed.
Staffless entertainment
What is staffless entertainment?
Staffless means that visitors can enjoy an experience independently, without a member of staff, instructor or game facilitator needing to be present throughout.
Does staffless mean completely without staff?
Not always. Some concepts only require a member of staff to hand out and collect the equipment. The concept itself then takes care of instructions, guidance and game progression.
What makes staffless entertainment attractive?
You can offer additional entertainment and experiences without constantly requiring extra staff hours. This makes concepts easier to scale and can help improve returns.
Are all your concepts staffless?
No. Many of our concepts are designed for independent use, but we also offer products and experiences where facilitation is part of the experience.
Revenue models and costs
Can I purchase a concept from Creatics?
Yes. Several concepts are available for outright purchase. The exact form of partnership varies by product.
What is Profit Share?
With Profit Share, Creatics and its partner share the revenue generated by a concept. This can reduce, or in some cases avoid, the upfront investment and creates a shared interest in making the concept successful.
Do you only work with Profit Share?
No. Depending on the concept, we offer options including purchase, rental, annual licences, subscriptions, pay-per-play and Profit Share. Together, we determine which model best suits your organisation.
Can a concept generate additional revenue?
Many of our entertainment concepts are specifically designed for this. For example, you can charge guests per participation, rental or experience played. We consider not only revenue, but also operating costs and staffing.
Can I also offer a concept to my visitors free of charge?
Yes. A concept does not always have to generate revenue directly. It can also serve as an extra service, attract visitors or improve the overall visitor experience.
Technology & implementation
Do I need extensive technical knowledge?
No. Our solutions are designed to be as easy to use as possible. We make sure staff understand how the concept works and provide support whenever needed.
Do you also handle installation and implementation?
Yes. Where necessary, we handle installation, configuration, instructions and training. For Plug & Play concepts, we keep implementation as simple as possible.
What happens if there is a technical problem?
Creatics provides personal support. Depending on the product, we help remotely or arrange repairs, replacement or maintenance.
Do you also provide updates?
For concepts that include software, we continue to develop updates, new features and, where relevant, new content. This allows a concept to keep evolving after installation.
Can concepts be used at multiple locations?
Many of our solutions are specifically designed to scale. Successful concepts can therefore be rolled out to multiple locations relatively easily.
Games & content
Can existing games be customised?
Yes. With several products, you can use an existing game as a starting point and adapt it to your audience, location, brand identity or objectives. This means you do not always have to start from scratch.
Can you add new games or challenges?
This depends on the concept, but many of our digital solutions allow new games, routes, challenges or other content to be added.
Can you incorporate our own brand identity?
Yes. For many concepts, we can adapt colours, logos, physical materials, digital screens and other elements to match your organisation’s identity.
Are the concepts available in multiple languages?
Many of our concepts can be offered in multiple languages. The available languages vary by product. We can also include additional languages in bespoke projects.
Entertainment & serious gaming
What is the difference between entertainment and serious gaming?
Entertainment focuses on fun and the experience itself. With serious gaming, we use the same power of play to share knowledge, encourage discussion about behaviour, promote collaboration or raise awareness of social issues.
Can you develop a serious game about our own topic?
Yes. We translate your topic and desired learning or behavioural objective into an interactive game format. We look for the right balance between content, enjoyment and impact.
Are your concepts suitable for large groups?
This varies by concept. Some experiences are designed for small groups, while others can engage dozens or hundreds of participants at the same time.
Are the concepts available in multiple languages?
Many of our concepts can be offered in multiple languages. The available languages vary by product. We can also include additional languages in bespoke projects.
Getting to know us
Can I view or test a concept first?
We can provide a demonstration of many concepts. This allows you to experience how they work and assess with us whether they suit your organisation and audience.
I am not sure which concept suits us. Can you help?
Of course. You do not need to know exactly which product you need in advance. Tell us what you want to achieve, for which audience and in what setting. Together, we will find the experience and revenue model that suit your needs.
How can I request a demo?
You can easily request a demo or introductory meeting through our website. We will then contact you to discuss your requirements.
Software and interactive routes
What is an interactive route?
An interactive route combines a physical environment with digital challenges, stories, games or information. For example, participants use their smartphones to discover locations, complete challenges and collect points.
Can we create interactive routes and games ourselves?
Yes. Our software lets you create and customise your own routes, challenges and games. This allows you to develop new content without having a complete new product built for every change.
Do participants need a special app?
This varies by solution. Wherever possible, we make access as simple as possible, for example through a smartphone and QR code or a web app.
Can visitors use their own smartphones?
Yes. With many of our solutions, participants simply use their own smartphones. This means your organisation does not have to provide equipment for every player.
Can we customise an existing game?
Yes. You do not always have to start from scratch. Existing Plug & Play games can serve as a foundation and be adapted to your location, audience or brand identity.
Can a route be tailored to our own location?
Absolutely. Routes can be built around specific places, buildings, attractions or points of interest at your location.
Can players activate physical objects along the way?
Yes. Depending on the concept, we can link digital content to QR codes, NFC tags, GPS locations or other interactive elements.
Can an interactive route be played without a facilitator?
Many routes are designed to be played entirely independently. The software guides participants through the experience, requiring little or no staff involvement.
Can we make changes to the route ourselves later?
With solutions that give you access to the management system, you can manage and refresh the content yourself. This includes text, challenges, locations and other game elements.
Can we create multiple routes with the same software?
Yes. Depending on the chosen solution, you can offer different routes and games from the same platform for different audiences or occasions.
Is the software suitable for different audiences?
Yes. The same technology can be used for families, children, tourists, teams, schools or community projects, for example. The content determines who the experience is suitable for.
Can interactive routes be offered in multiple languages?
Yes. Multilingual options allow the same route to be adapted for international visitors.
Can we use our own brand identity?
Yes. Depending on the solution, logos, colours, images and other visual elements can be adapted to your organisation.
Can we see how many people play a route?
Depending on the platform, usage data and results can be tracked. The available statistics vary by solution.
Can we earn money with an interactive route?
Yes. A route can be offered free of charge as an extra service or used as a paid activity. We can help develop a revenue model that suits your location and audience.
How much does it cost to use the software?
This depends on the software chosen, the number of games or routes and the support required. We offer different models and work with you to find the best solution.
Will we receive support when creating our first route?
Yes. We can help with configuration, training and the development of your first content. Depending on the solution, you can then gradually do more yourself.
